Do Cheats Work in GTA 6 Online?
Like all previous GTA titles, cheats will NOT work in GTA 6 Online. Cheat codes are single-player only. Using cheats in story mode will also disable achievements/trophies for that session — so create a separate save if you want to maintain your trophy progress.
How to Enter Cheats in GTA 6
GTA 6 cheats can be entered via two methods:
Method 1 — Controller Buttons (PS5/Xbox) Enter a sequence of button presses during gameplay (not paused). The game will acknowledge the cheat with a notification.
Method 2 — Phone (PC / All Platforms) Open your in-game phone, navigate to Contacts, and dial the cheat phone number. This method was introduced in GTA 5 for PC and is expected to return.
